Ruskin in Wyre 2018

The Ruskin in Wyre project got underway last July and plenty has been happening in Bewdley and its environs since then. A full programme of arts and crafts activity has been evolved for 2018 (some of the dates are still subject to confirmation).

Here's a summary of the picture so far. Follow for more detail

Sunday 17th February - Midwinter Tales Lantern Walk, 5.30pm-7pm

Thursday 24th February - Spoon Carving, 10.30am-4pm (£20 - max 6 people)

Through March - Community Build, Bridge North Riverside Park, Bewdley

Through April - Dismantle Birchen Coppice Boardwalk

Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th May - (timings TBC) - 'Come on Spring!' (presented by B Arts)

Wednesday 30th May - Adult and Child Green Woodworking - 10.30am-4pm (£20 max 6 people)

Friday 1st June - Make your own Coathook, 11am-4pm (£20 max 6 people)

Through June/July - Studio in the Wyre and Festival of Making

Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July - 'Summer is a Coming!' (presented by B Arts)

Through July/August - Rebuild Birchen Coppice Boardwalk

Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th August - August Far Forest Show - come and see the Wyre team on their stand

Friday 19th October - Bewdley Festival (Clive Wilmer, aster of the Guild, speaking)

Week commencing 29th October - Big Draw and Apple Day

Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th November - Cleft gate making course (£40 - 2 day course)
