Please describe yourself and your areas of interest.

My research focuses on the relationship between Ruskin and Marcel Proust, on each writer separately, and on Marie Nordlinger, Proust’s Muse from Manchester (the title of my forthcoming book in 2026).

Why did you become a Companion of the Guild?

I was invited to become a Companion of the Guild because of my Ruskin work and my work as Secretary of the Ruskin Society.
