Harry Brown
How would you define yourself?
Passionate Amateur

Please describe yourself and your areas of interest.
I'm interested in community focused work as a holistic approach to the problems that working people face today. I visit Italy as often as I can, specifically the area around Lake Maggiore which is very close to my heart. I don't have an academic or professional background. Some of my work experience includes; Canal boat building, antiques dealing, social media & website work, venue facilities manager at a community arts centre, pizza delivery driver, charity shop manager, English teacher abroad and a workshop manager dealing with classic cars. A consumer and producer of poetry too.
Why did you become a Companion of the Guild?
I want to see how Ruskin's ideas can work today and if I might be able to help them along in some way. Clive Wilmer very kindly took time to help me many years ago and I wanted to give something back to the guild.
