“If the thing is impossible, you need not trouble yourselves about it; if possible, try for it” (John Ruskin)

Help us to build the People’s Palace of Possibility. Discover distant utopias, cast off your fears for the future, and begin to create a better one.

In the Palace, you’ll meet devil’s advocates, dusty bureaucrats, concerned citizens, and find policies which require your immediate attention. There are nooks and crannies to be explored, myths to be created and a wonderful garden to relax in.

An extraordinary experience created by theatre and interactive arts company, The Bare Project, with Opus Independents and Ruskin in Sheffield. Anna Forlati, acclaimed Italian children’s book illustrator; Stan Skinny, Sheffield’s ‘tallest and funniest’ poet (Off The Shelf); and super sculptor Coralie Turpin are on hand to keep your minds open, and your hands making.

Utopian bar open. Entry to John Ruskin: Art & Wonder exhibition included.

Drop-in event. Recommended minimum stay time: 90 mins.

Recommended donation £4, just turn up. Over 18s.
